This winning sativa-dominant hybrid took home first place in the Medical Sativa category at the 2014 Seattle Cannabis Cup. It’s a Washington original, grown by at least two local cultivators, Olympia Mike, and A Green Cure. It’s a blend of Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze, and it has a Sativa/Indica ratio of 80:20. That means heady, peppy, cerebral effects: arousal, creativity, energy, euphoria, and intense happiness. These make for ideal tools in treating depression, fatigue, anxiety, nausea, and chronic pain. THC levels soar in this strain, with at least one sample topping 25%, and that puts Super Lemon Haze near the top of the potency pyramid. But it isn’t known for its CBD levels, which regularly test well below 1%. In other words, this strain shouldn’t be used as the only medicine for conditions that respond to CBD, such as seizure disorders. Super Lemon Haze has a tart, zesty lemon flavor and aroma, with sweet notes of candy. The bud, which has a speckled green-and-brown appearance, is covered with a dense layer of resinous trichomes. This strain is popular on the West Coast of the United States and in British Columbia.
What is Live Resin?
Live resin is a type of cannabis concentrate that is made from fresh cannabis plant material. Unlike other concentrates that are made from dried and cured cannabis flowers, live resin is made using the entire plant, including the buds, leaves, and stems.
The resulting concentrate is highly potent and has a distinctive flavor and aroma that is often described as more complex and nuanced than other concentrates. Live resin is typically consumed by dabbing, although it can also be added to edibles or used to infuse other cannabis products.
Benefits of Live Resin
The benefits of live resin are largely related to its high concentration of cannabinoids and terpenes, as well as its unique flavor and aroma profile. Here are some of the potential benefits of using live resin:
- High potency: Live resin typically has a much higher concentration of cannabinoids like THC and CBD than other forms of cannabis, which can provide a more potent and intense experience.
- Full-spectrum effects: Because live resin is made from fresh, uncured cannabis plant material, it contains a wider range of cannabinoids and terpenes than other concentrates. This full-spectrum effect may offer more comprehensive therapeutic benefits.
- Enhanced flavor and aroma: Live resin has a unique flavor and aroma profile that is often described as more complex and nuanced than other concentrates. This can make for a more enjoyable and flavorful experience.
- Versatility: Live resin can be used in a variety of ways, including dabbing, vaporizing, adding to edibles, or infusing into other cannabis products.

Headrush of clarity upon first hit. Nobody will review this strain and concentrate type (live resin) combination as accurate depicted as this statement.
Its sativa dominant obviously, focus, euphoria. Enhanced neurological functioning by this product backed by my personal experiences.
I’ve tried Super Lemon Haze in Diamonds once too. Same effects, live resin of this strain seems more “full-spectrum”, again, as pertaining to the strain and type.
Cerebral.
